A New addition in my Family!

She's so adorable, so special and so beautiful!! Yes it my lovely puppy Bella :) She's a German Spitz, we brought her home when she was only 2 weeks old, she was so tiny and now she's big and strong. I just love the way she gets excited and wags her tail when I get back from work. What a homecoming!! :)

Bella is truly the sunshine in my life! She is growing so fast and is very active, she loves to run and play outside. But one thing she does not like is her bath, she just runs around the bathroom and I have to run behind Bella to shampoo her ;)

After my work I make sure I take Bella for a walk outside to get some fresh air. Then she has her dinner and she has this lovely habit when she eats she always needs the placemat!

Bella has become the love of our lives. I consider Bella as my family member and our little Princess :)

Indian Idol 5!

I'm not a great fan of Indian Idol but whenever I surf the channels randomly, what makes me watch Indian Idol for a few minutes is the contestant Arpita Khan who I think is absolutely talented.

The same routine again today, I surfed the channels randomly and I did not change the channel and watched Indian Idol because next Arpita was going to sing. After she sang I was delighted that the Indian Idol Stage had such a good performer!

Then soon came the elimination round and I was very disappointed when they called out Arpita's name in that list! It bothered me even more when they announced that she was actually eliminated, I was shocked!

Talent is what counts and not the looks, I agree that an Idol should have the oomph factor but that can always be improved. She may not be the best looking but she's definitely the cute and talented one! There are so many other contestants who are still in the top list of Indian Idol, out of which some really do not deserve to be there.

It is very important to capture the talent of the singer, it is indeed a loss that Arpita is eliminated but I'm sure she's gonna do well wherever she goes in future!

All the best Arpita! Keep it up because you are very talented!

My new job !

I'm excited about commencing work in an amazing company in a few days. It would be a great opportunity for me to learn a lot and I'm looking forward to it. My work is going to be challenging, interesting and I would get to interact with a lot of people. I've also had one of the best rounds of selection which had made it even more interesting.

Let's begin with the first round of selection process where I had to write essays and solve hypothetical questions, sounds like the same routine of selection process that any company would have but the interesting part was the second round of selection process where I was given a list of items that I had to collect and bring them back within an hour without paying for those items. I must say that it was the best experience on the field because I got to meet a lot of people in order to collect the items required; not to forget a lot of negotiation in order to get the items.

One of the public asked me if I was in a game show, which was quite astounding and I replied that indeed it was like a game show minus the camera behind me! During that one hour I had met so many people that I had never imagined including teachers, working women, students and police officers who were all very helpful.

It was my first time experience and it was very exciting, hoping to learn, explore and grow with the company!

Proud to be a Stella Marian!

Studying in Stella Maris College for 5 years (3 yrs of Bachelors and 2 yrs of Masters) has been such a wonderful time, the college has shaped me into an amazing mature woman!

I'm really proud to be a part of the Stella Maris Family, it is my second home. I shed tears when I think of departing from such a reputed institution which has been an integral part of my life, I would definitely want to come back to Stella Maris College where I can cherish the moments again!

Stella Maris College has moulded me to face the world with full confidence and it has given me the opportunity to discover myself! Being a part of the Stella Maris Family, makes you feel proud to be a Stella Marian and when you step out of the college for job opportunities or higher studies you are assured to be recognized because of the high standard education at Stella Maris College.

Paparazzi !

There have always been paparazzi following us wherever we go, the SOCIETY that follows every individual's life..

How much ever you try to stay away from them they are around you and the cliché phrase that follows "What will the society think?" I mean seriously why does it matter what they think, don't they have a life? There are instances where before one could speak an opinion is formed!!

I have to say the best thing to do is to just ignore... Some of them realize that they don't matter to you so they calm down a little bit but there are a lot of them who in spite of ignoring will still be behind you... Whatever it may be just live your life to the fullest!

My Mom is God's Gift to me because without my mom I would not have been brought into this world and enjoy the life I am enjoying now. I owe my mom big time for all that she has done for me, today if I'm successful with good education and job, it is only because of my mom's encouragement and love.

My mom has been my support system from the time I came to this wonderful world to taking my first step she held my hand and walked along with me and till today she's with me, I'm blessed to have such a wonderful person with me.

Why I love Limca ads !

Hats off to the entire team for making Limca advertisements !! They are just very refreshing and the videos are always very cute, not forgetting the music its just too melodious and makes you want to sing along!

The Limca commercials does a very good work of communicating their brand "freshness" to the audience, it has definitely made me try limca and I loved it !
